Laughter is the Best Medicine

As most of you know I had a rough December. When I saw this joke I just had to laugh. It is from a Medical Bloopers once a day calendar.

A young boy's mother told me he had had "smilin' mighty Jesus."

From the child's record I found that he had been hospitalized for viral meningitis.

I thought it was funny because I kept saying I had Spinal Meningitis, when it is really Viral Meningitis.

Funny Stuff.

Oh my goodness, Em I had no idea all that you have been going through lately, how scary!! I'm sorry, if I would have realized I would have gotten in touch with you much sooner. I'm glad that everything is going better for you now and you are in my prayers. Just take care of yourself! I will be in Green River around the 6th or 8th of march and I would love to meet that little beauty of yours, she is too cute.

Well, there's a positive twist! haha! Except you can't use it since yours was viral... oh well! I love you! And I'm glad you are starting to feel a little better!

I did it again! Krystle pointed out that even in the joke I had written it as "spinal" not "viral". I have since fixed it and called myself a dork many times.

I am glad you are still laughing Emily. Now you just need to get back to blogging more often. Take care and post pics of Maya when you get a chance.

Too funny! It's so nice to read your blog again. What's up, have you been sick or something? ;) I can't wait for lunch this week!

Emily, we can totally get together on the 16th. In fact, I look forward to it, but I'll have to see if we can find someone to keep the kids. Or after the guys get done with school?? Hmmm....
